In tough economic times, how can you make the buildings and infrastructure you have work better and last longer? Do you need to provide justification for renovation, expansion or replacement projects? PF&A can bring a team of architects and engineers to your facility to survey and identify current architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and site conditions. The team can benchmark your facility against current codes and standards. In some cases the assessment includes evaluation of functional adequacy as well as condition. The team’s summary report identifies and prioritizes building and infrastructure deficiencies, repair and replacement needs, provides options and recommendations as well as the estimated costs for renewal efforts. A Facility Assessment is a very cost effective way to have the information you need for capital budgeting, developing a deferred maintenance program and, most importantly, renewing and sustaining building resources for the future.
