Paul Finch presented an overview of the 2010 Guidelines for Design of Healthcare Facilities, also known as the FGI Guidelines, at the Hampton Roads District Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers (VSHE) April workshop.

VSHE is the local chapter affiliated with the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Their primary mission is to improve and enhance the local healthcare facilities infrastructure, operations and maintenance through planning, education, cooperation, advocacy and design innovation.
