The Isle of Wight Campus is anticipated as a campus that will eventually support a 120 bed acute facility located for the residents of Isle of Wight. The primary service area encompasses Ilse of Wight at Suffolk. It is anticipated that this development will experience growth as a result of the population increases in that corridor of the county. Other attractive characteristics of the primary service area make this an excellent site for future development. Sentara proposes to develop 43.49 acre health campus in phases over an unspecified time period. Phase 1 is assumed to include an initial Medical Office Building of which significant space will be dedicated to the provision of primary care and specialty physician services. It is anticipated that the initial services will also include urgent care. There may be additional MOB development leading to the full development of the campus as a hospital. The development of the hospital will entail significant analysis and approvals. Sentara is seeking a plan to fully develop the property with the flexibility to adjust uses based on future needs and approvals.
