The general intent of this project is to provide the renovation of the existing Surgery Suite to meet current VA Medical Standards. The project includes complete renovations including new surgical equipment, finishes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The project is being constructed in phases so that no more than two operating rooms will be shut down in any given phase. Asbestos, fireproofing, floor mastic and lead paint have been identified and removal is included in the construction.
