A surgical group from Virginia Beach decided to join up with the Women’s Breast Center located in the Jennings Center in Chesapeake. About 5,000 square feet of space was renovated adjacent to the current breast center on the first floor. The surgical group wanted a ‘fresh, spa-like’ atmosphere for their new space. The design includes exam rooms, a procedure room, a nurse station, consult, assessment and doctor offices. Indirect lighting and custom decorative lighting were used along with glass tile and decorative unit panels to help create the spa-like feeling. Soft colors were utilized for a natural contemporary style.
